Dr. Shilowbhadra Banerjee, Chairman

Dr. Shilowbhadra Banerjee is responsible for developing strategic policies focusing on long term needs.
His experience and ability to balance the short term targets against long term growth has
given the company a strong foundation. His contributions encompass all the fields namely, Leadership,
HRD, Entrepreneurship, Cost Reduction, Quality Improvement, Value Additions, Product Development, R&D,
Technology Development and Equipment and Instrumentation Development.
Dr. Banerjee comes with an enriched background of Metallurgical Engineering with over 45 years of
professional experience. Before starting Zeus Numerix as a Chairman, he took up various diverse roles
as Professor at IIT Bombay; Director of National Metallurgical Laboratory and Steel Authority of India
Limited. Later he was consultant to Government of India agencies, R&D Organizations and Industries.
He is recipient of 9 National and International Awards, author of 51 International Publication and 17
Patents, Chairman or Member of 23 Technical Committees and Academic Bodies and Consultant or Member
of Board of Directors of various Government and Private Agencies.
He holds a Bachelors degree in the Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He received his Ph.D.
degree from IIT Bombay.
Dr. Gopal R Shevare, Director (Technology)
As a Co-founder & Director (Technology), Dr. Gopal Shevare sets the vision and strategic direction
for the growth of company. He is credited with imparting technical diversity to the Zeus leadership team.
His hands-on approach accompanied by a drive for perfection is responsible for all technological building
blocks development, customer engagements and technology direction. Dr. Shevare is known for his determination,
dynamism and his passion to understand customer challenges and solve it. He is the source of motivation and
leadership to the employees of ZN.
Dr. Shevare holds a Bachelor's, Master and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay.
Irshad Khan, CEO
Irshad has over-all responsibility for the timely completion of projects, delivery of products
and services of Zeus Numerix. This includes responsibility for people, processes and technology.
His main focus is to integrate the intellectual property to provide a competitive edge.
He is responsible for Zeus' operations & maintains effective utilization of Zeus' resources spread
around its three centers.
Irshad has experience in a variety of technical and managerial roles. His area of technical expertise
is in Geometry Modeling and Grid Generation.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University.
Hemant Jalan, Director (Finance)
Hemant is Director Finance at ZN. His responsibilities include finance planning, compliances,
MIS & budgetary control.
Hemant has been a serial entrepreneur, taking his companies to IPO. He was also CEO of Sterlite's
copper smelter plant at Tuticorin. He brings with him an experience on managing resources &
maintaining growth during the crucial phase of company expansion.
He holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Kanpur, Masters from Stanford University and MBA from Chicago Business School.
Basant K Gupta, Director
Basant is responsible for taking initiatives in building and transforming the company's IP, in a manner
that benefits its customers. He performs hands-on-tasks towards delivering industry specific technologies.
He helps the company determine the types of products and services the company should focus on.
Basant holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
Madhur Murarka, Director
Madhur is a promoter of Mata securities & is also credited with having promoted several companies
in software, publishing and management advisory domains.
Madhur has more than 25 years experience in management & operations of brokerage firms in India.
He is a B.Tech from BITS Pilani.
