Zeus Numerix sponsors National Aeroacoustics Seminar and announces availability of CFD-CAA coupled analysis
A presentation by Zeus Numerix, on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Aeroacoustics (CAA) coupling during a national seminar on aeroacoustics reiterated the commitment of ZN in being at the forefront of aeronautical design. Dr. Amit Thakur of Zeus Numerix, presented a talk on the work being carried out to numerically model flow induced noise for a 3D high-lift wing in landing configuration. ZN also announced the availability of analysis and optimization skills on aircraft design.

The Venue and the hosts were Nilakantan Wind Tunnel Centre (NWTC), Belur Campus, NAL CTFD Division.

The lead faculty for the workshop was Dr. Syed Ahmed, formerly of Technical Aeroacoustics Division, German Aerospace Research Center (DLR), Brauschweig, Germany. He is a leading authority in this subject with vast practical experience spanning over four decades. Prof. Jaywant Arakeri, IISc, spoke on turbulent flows. Prof. Mathew, IISc, discussed LES aspects. Prof. Venkata R. Sonti, IISc, covered the mathematical aspects and Dr. Venkatakrishan, NAL, spoke on experimental aspects of jet noise.
