We can manipulate a large number of geometric parameters for shape optimization. This is coupled with off-design operation parameters for achieving design robustness. For aerodynamics, design performance is predicted using time consuming high fidelity CFD simulation. Our design environment saves precious time by integrating rapid calculations tools (Panel Method, BEM etc.) with evolutionary algorithms to eliminate unfit design candidates.
