Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), an extremely versatile technology requiring high performance computing environment is poised to take over as a universal software for simulating multi-physics problems in industrial R&D. It is slowly becoming a part and parcel of Computer Aided Engineering, promising to reduce the time and cost of designing and analyzing engineering systems, especially because present day cluster of PCs have adequate computing power for solving CFD problems. The major deterrents to the widespread use of CFD now are lack of trained manpower and availability of accurate, robust and versatile CFD software.

The present course is designed to introduce and train participants in the use CFD for industrial applications. The theoretical lectures on CFD will be delivered by IIT Faculty and hands-on session will be handled by Zeus Numerix and C-DAC.

The course will be beneficial for Design Engineers, Technology Managers, Scientists, R&D consultants and faculty of engineering colleges.
